... Happiness
I am home to Vancouver for a few more days before I go back to Sask to the stores to gear up for What Women Want (have you booked your VIP BUS TICKET yet??), store renos, photoshoots and probably another trip back to LA.
It's hard to leave Vancouver. I feel like Reese Witherspoon in Sweet Home Alabama, she designs a clothing line in New York and then goes home to Alabama- where "you should have a passport to come here---(she said as she entered her parents home)"
But like her, both worlds seem to work, two solar systems in difference. The food, the people, the culture. But some how, it all works.
Daisy Mae my ADORABLE doggie, reminds me that happiness and bliss can be found in the most random of places and in my case, it's a 9 pound fluffy dog that thinks she is a human or baby for that matter!

... Random Finds
I am also looking for the latest greatest finds in the most random places. While home in Vancouver this month I always make a visit to Value Village, it's really clean and well managed now and like so many other things it's hit and miss, but if you take your time and really look, plan and visualize you are bound to find one good item. This time I did.
In perfect condition with beautiful lines I found a vintage blazer set (the pants were included) for $15 bucks. The blazer has GOLD BUTTONS! and I just love it! I can't wait to wear with denim and some neon yellow pumps! The pants are going to look wonderful this summer with a basic black tee and some statement jewels! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
My brother Dexter takes after his sister in that he has found a beautiful passion for Louis Vuitton. So while in Vegas this week he could hardly wait to go to the new LV across from our hotel and purchase some new items for his ever growing collection and as it so happens we went in looking to get him another LV belt and travel bag, but instead we fell in love with this S/S 2012 sunglasses for men. Of course, once he tried them on he couldn't put them down. Beautiful. Can't wait until we are in our 50's and 60s and can pass these "vintage" items down to our nieces and nephews!
And true to my shoe obsession and latest passion for WEDGES-- I think this is my shoe of choice from now on, I bought these. Love & Lust all in one!

My brother Dexter and I just spent the past week in Vegas & La searching for amazing new items for the stores. We both have a passion for vintage and of course amazing unique one of a kind jewelry and accessories. We found some AMAZING collections on our travels this week.
I have been looking at this line of "gaudy" as they name it yet bold and beautiful jewelry since my last visit to LA! Thank goodness Dexter and I had enough time at the end of the tag to finally pick up some of these great BEAUTIFUL pieces. They will look to die for with some of the colors coming in this season
We fell in LOVE with this "watch". Which is a vintage 1800 watch that put onto a leather cuff. It's so edgy yet classy. Looks great on a women with some major arm candy or a trendy guy. You will be seeing some pieces from this line in the fall xo
We found this line from DC on Tuesday and our hearts fluttered. There were so many great pieces we just couldn't choose, so we settled on three really great FUN pieces that you will see in store this week!
I am obsessed with ARM CANDY- I have been in love with it since last spring when everyone thought I was weird for piling so much on my arm. But now I am too the excessive and just can't get enough. On the jewelry buy I found these neon pieces + they are coming in 5 other colors too!!! Stack stack stack!
HATS!!!! You should see the adorable floppy's we got and these flower ones are so cute. How can you not want to rock this with a pair of sunglasses and a beautiful maxi dress? Bring on the HOT WEATHER--- or hot vacation!
Just after the jewelry buy- it's intense and at the end of each buy we usually have about 100 pounds of jewelry being shipped to the store. It takes me about 2-3 hours each buy (then we break for sushi on the rooftop patio and some great country music, random I know)

... Saskatchewan's Largest Shopping Party
obviously chic boutique in association with Bella Chic Fashion Decor and What Women Want present "Girls Night Out" - A fantastic night of shopping, food, drinks and all things girly!
On Saturday, March 17th, Grab your girlfriends and join us for an exclusive evening of shopping and fun at the What Women Want Show in Regina, SK. The evening will begin with guests boarding a private Stagecoach bus traveling to Regina. The Bus will be making two stops for guest pick ups:
1st Pickup: 4PM @ Obviously Chic
2nd Pickup 5PM @ Smitty's Entrance at the mall in Weyburn
Once aboard, all guests will be greeted with swag bags with goodies from show vendors and some other prizes too! ( Also, feel free to bring your own drink aboard the bus )
At 6:30 Pm you will arrive at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina for the What Women Want Show, Saskatchewan's premier womens event! The nights festivities will begin with a 1 hour Caribbean VIP Reception hosted by Jamdon's Restaurant & Catering Service Inc. (Must purchase your own drinks at the show and in VIP room).
